Purchase

Whether you are purchasing your first home or moving house, we can help meet your needs. Loans of up to 90% are available, subject to the Society's normal terms and conditions at competitive variable and fixed rates.

Equity Release

Irish Nationwide can facilitate releasing equity on your home whether you are an existing Irish Nationwide borrower or not. Equity is the difference between the amount you owe on your mortgage and the current value of your home. Instead of equity being tied up in your property, it may be used towards carrying out home improvements, your children's education fees or to release equity for other purposes. Equity Release provides up to 85% loan to value of your property and is based on mortgage Interest rates which may make it the cheapest way to borrow.

Refinance

Irish Nationwide offers customers the opportunity to consolidate all loans into one single loan, including personal loans and home improvement loans. This facilitates a better cash flow and allows you to repay your loan at a lower rate.

You can repay the personal loan element within the original period or if preferred you can opt to repay these over a longer term. Remember, repaying short term debt over an extended period may result in lower monthly repayments but can actually cost more in the long term. Reducing the term of the loan or paying extra can save money in interest and allow you to repay your mortgage earlier than planned.

Additionals

For our existing customers who wish to borrow more money on the strength of their current home, the Society has a streamlined process for releasing funds to our valued existing customers.

Term

The term of a mortgage is the length of time over which you will repay your mortgage. The Society offers terms from 10 to 35 years.
