The Society’s policy is to conduct all business operations to best industry standards and practices and in a socially responsible manner. Our goal is to behave ethically and with integrity in the communities where we work.

The Society continues to contribute and be involved in a whole range of community and charitable ventures across all elements of society. This is in full recognition of our social and national obligations to support the communities where we do business.

Through sponsorship, fundraising and other activities Irish Nationwide supports hundreds of events, initiatives and organisations across the country each year.

Under the terms of the Government Guarantee Scheme Irish Nationwide is required to work with the other covered institutions and the IBF to submit a bi-annual report to the Minister on goals set out by the Minister in relation to corporate social responsibility.

The first bi-annual report was submitted to the Minister in March 2009. The second bi-annual report was submitted to the Minister on 16 September 2009. Copies of both reports may be accessed using the links below.
